Love

You chill the blood
You fill and flood
Surrounded by emotions
You cause so much commotion
Life isn't complete without your touch
Why must you act such?
Through the ages you've changed lives
For you men have fought
In your name blood has been shed
Wars fought
Lessons taught
You send hearts racing
The reason for my pacing
Oh, Love, how bitterly sweet
Is your treat
Offered to every man
You cause so much grief
I pray it be brief
